Genesis Biomes
According to the journal, all twelve biomes were active and thriving before the expedition. The explorers traced a dense network of data trails spanning ‘Opis I’ and found they all pointed to a single source somewhere between two neighbouring biomes.
Notes in the journal describe this pair of biomes as a wondrous digital spectacle containing the highest concentration of data on ‘Opis I’, suggesting a special bond between them that wasn’t detected in any of the other biomes.
It is believed these now inactive biomes were the original ‘genesis biomes’ of ‘Opis I’, from which the other ten biomes grew.
