Battling
OpiPets have existed for a long time and have their traditions and values. While they were created to be harmonious with each other, their source data is based on our reality, and our reality is ripe with competition and sporting aggression.
One practice of battling against each other is to determine the most dominant OpiPet, others battle as a form of recreation, territorial defence, or instinctual training. Though the battles can be intense, the OpiPets see them as essential for their existence.
Their fights are structured, turn-based, and end when one OpiPet loses its health and passes out. They are intelligent creatures and value strategy. With the involvement of humans, OpiPets now fight with inventories and have ten slots that their human companions can equip with items.
